Valentine's Day

 Tanya, Ashley, and I decided to stay in while our guy friends went to a monster truck show. We had a very nice fondue spread!Cheese, and chocolate. Fruit, meat, pretzels, and bread. MMMMMMMMM

 I also had some very nice friends drop off some flowers for me too. One friend was given a single rose on Valentine's Day last year, so she had to pass it on this year. I guess it's my turn next year to make someone feel loved on V-Day. The other flowers and an Oreo Carmel apple were also from a friend and I think I know who even though they deny it. Both were awesome!

Superbowl

 I went and watched the Superbowl with my friends Charlotte, Anita, Maddi, and Nikki. It is great because they are all into sports and were willing to watch the game. Anita made this great Payton Manning cake because Maddi hates him! We had a ton of great food and then came the half time show....

 I have seen Bruno Mars live in concert and he is awesome but I was more excited this year for bologna darts! They drew a bullseye on the window and the game is pretty straight forward. You throw your bologna as hard as you can at the window to get it to stick. AMAZING RIGHT!?

 Everyone was pretty grossed out but Nikki and I had fun playing over and over again. We even played our own game of "throw bologna as hair of the face" This maybe something I will have to play again!

Snowboarding

 My friend Charlotte had some night snowboarding passes so back a couple of months ago we decided to go hit up the mountain one Saturday night. She had been once 4 years before and I had been once last year. So with that we started on the bunny hill and went from there. Together we would make a great snowboarder because I can only go down on my heels forwards and she can only could down backwards on her toes. It made for a lot of laughs especially each attempt to get off the lift was a new adventure.

Charlotte would get off the lift and fall and not move out of the way fast enough and the lady would yell at her. Then she accidentally strapped in her lead foot and got yelled at for that. We were having a rough night with ski patrol :) It was nice when we needed a break and would just sit on the side of the slopes and were able to enjoy nature some.

I went again a few weeks later with Charlotte and some more friends and I fell and hit my head hard on the first run and got a concussion. I kept going for 3 more hours before I was so sick that I could barely stand anymore. After that night I decided to hang up the board for this winter and maybe give it another go next year.

Jazz vs Heat

 Back in December my ward had a service auction. People offered up the specific skills they had and we got to have bid wars on them depending on how much we would pay. All the money we raised went to help 2 families for Christmas. Ashley and I bid on some sweet Jazz vs Miami Heat tickets for a great deal and we finally got to cash in on our prize! We went to the game with the Anderson's who had the tickets to auction. We had awesome seats and a ton of fun!
