Beautiful Lengths

Right before the end of the school year  (MAY) I decided that I needed to cut my hair again. And when I say cut I mean really cut! I love my long hair most of the time but this is what I do. I grow my hair out so that I can chop it off and donate it to Pantene ProV Beautiful Lengths. They make wigs free of charge for women with cancer that have lost their own hair. I can't think of an easier thing to do for someone going through so much, besides being patient for 3 years while it grows out.

They took off 11 inches and then probably and additional 2 inches with styling it. It is unbelievable how different I think I look and apparently older too.

Blazin' Challenge at Buffalo Wild Wings

Well my friends and I have become regulars at Buffalo Wild Wings, and the people there always ask when we are going to the Blazin Challenge. A couple of weeks ago Rob texted us all and said tonight we are all doing the challenge. Who knows why we actually followed through but 5 of us went and did it. Ashley was freaking out beforehand and my stomach knew what was coming wasn't going to be good. But we ordered our wings and started the 6 minutes of hell...
Ashley don't hate me but I love this picture!
Ashley made it through 2 wings...

Jake made it through 8...

Rob finished on 3:36 (i still don't know how!)

And I finished at 5:58 with a mouth full of meat that still needed swallowed. I almost threw up 3 different times and had to have Ashley wipe my the dripping snot from my nose. That's a true friend there.

I dye laughing every time I see this picture of Rob cross eyed!
We did it! This picture was after much cleaning and alot of milk and water and carrots. My face was still on fire though.
Luckily I at least got a free t-shirt!

Questival

I heard about the Questival on Facebook as a 24 hour adventure. It was run by a company called Cotopaxi which is a newer company in Provo that sells outdoor gear. I think this was a way to promote the company and that is exactly what it did. I don't think they expected as many people to sign up as they ended up having, which is always awesome. I got Ashley and Tanya to sign up with me for an all girls team 4 days before the adventure started.

They gave us a list of about 150 things that we could choose from. Each activity had a number of points associated with it. When we completed that activity we had to document with pictures and submit them on the Cotopaxi app. It was really well set up and a ton of fun. There were different categories like service, community, camping, quirky, adventure, hiking, ect. The rules were you had to have the majority of your team at the activity, at least one person in the picture, and always all 3 backpacks that they gave us for the race. ( I don't even think this was all of the pictures we took:))

I got to see and do so much in Utah that I have been meaning to do. Like see the Salt Flats or go in the Great Salt Lake, or visit Wendover. I got to hang out with a llama, and camp in Ashlee's backyard. I was able to serve and hike and see more of Utah in 24 hours than I have in the last year. After it was all over we met in Lehi for a big concert and revealing the winners. We didn't win, but we also know that we didn't cheat. We had so much fun and were only a little grumpy. Ashley almost ran out of gas in the middle of no where coming back from Wendover, but that was all part of the fun. We were able to stand being with each other for a full 24 hours so I guess that makes us all real friends!

THANK YOU COTOPAXI and the QUESTIVAL
