Service project

My church had a very large service project in downtown Salt Lake 2 weeks ago. We contacted people that needed help down there, raised money and got to work. We spent a whole with a lot of 18-30 year olds landscaping, gardening, painting, bricklaying, roofing, and so much more. I am very proud of all the people who showed up despite the rainy and stormy day.

They put me in a tiny corner behind a refrigerator because apparently I was the only one that would fit!

Then I helped plant a nice little garden!

While trying to make a rock garden we found this old gem pogo stick in a junk pile and had to take a break to try it out.
That's the best we could do from what we had to work with and I say it looks pretty darn good!

Best looking yard that was completed during the day. It started with a fence in the middle and looked like a forest! Now it has a nice little patio, walkway, and lots of sod!
